Satchikitsa Prasarak Mandal was founded in 1955 in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, on a simple conviction: that selfless service to our fellow beings is the truest form of worship. What began as a small charitable effort has grown into a sanctuary of healing and dignity for rural Vidarbha.
The Trust ensures that the values of compassion, dignity and selfless love are preserved and nurtured in every endeavour: a fully free eye hospital without billing counters, India’s pioneering all-religions mass marriages, and Narayan Seva meals served daily without interruption since 1995.

The Trust’s decades of social work have been honoured and celebrated across Maharashtra.
Dr. Prakash Nandurkar felicitated for a lifetime of seva to education, sports and society.
Sarvadharmiya Samuhik Vivah celebrated statewide in the press, year after year.
Philanthropists, volunteers and well-wishers united in a common mission of compassion.
Our work is powered by the generosity of institutions whose CSR partnership equips our hospitals and outreach programmes.
“Where there is love and selfless service, there God resides, and there no one is ever turned away.”
