Health, dignity and hope for all
To build a compassionate and self-reliant society where every individual lives with health, dignity and hope.
Satchikitsa Prasarak Mandal · Est. 1955
A sanctuary of healing and dignity for rural Vidarbha, built on the conviction that selfless service is the truest form of worship.
Satchikitsa Prasarak Mandal was founded in 1955 in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, on a simple conviction: that selfless service to our fellow beings is the truest form of worship. What began as a small charitable effort has grown into a sanctuary of healing and dignity for rural Vidarbha.
Every programme is offered entirely free, to anyone in need, without distinction of caste, creed or religion: a fully free eye hospital without billing counters, India’s pioneering all-religions mass marriages, and Narayan Seva meals served daily since 1995.
To build a compassionate and self-reliant society where every individual lives with health, dignity and hope.
To uplift underprivileged communities by providing free medical services, food assistance and life-affirming social initiatives.
Inspired by the belief that service to man is service to God.
